so I recently purchased a 2015 GLK 350, my first upgrade was adding a little base to the stock system. A local stereo shop that I deal with frequently suggested a JBL Basspro Hub. this particular 11" sub fits perfectly inside the spare tire, comes with a gain control so you can adjust accordantly, I wasn't expecting too much out of it but wow!!! I couldn't beleive how good and crisp this speaker sounds. Installation was straight forward and comes with everything that you need. added a few pictures for reference....
if you're a do it yourself kinda person you could do it, I usually do all of my own stereo installs (boat, truck, friends cars) but since my summer is pretty jammed packed with vacation trips I just didn't have the time so I had my local shop do it. In saying that any stereo shop in your area can do the install.
