Yes and without ABS I would be very careful as the steering could be hard also. Even if you will determine the defective part with a generic/chinese OBD tool, you will need a real scanner to make the repair.

I would expect a better indicator if the alternator failed.

If you do not have an AGM battery likely the battery terminals and cables are corroded , they will need to be cleaned with a terminal brush not some liqued de oxidizer. AGM won’t output gas that corrodes terminals . A weak battery or alternator is possible . What is battery voltage sitting ? Charge it now if you can and get it tested free at most any auto parts store . They can also test alternator . If all test good you need a pro to find a fault .
