AMG Padels

Thanks Joe and Baby G. Those are AMG pedals for C63. I ordered them through the MB Parts Dept.

AMG Aluminum Pedals

You know what, they were not expensive.

The brake pedal was approx. CAD23.00. It's a direct replacement of the rubber one. Here in Vancouver they didn't have it in stock so shipped from Toronto.

The gas pedal is a drive-by-wire. It's not just the pedal but the mechanism behind so it came to CAD210.00. This one had to fly in from Germany.

I never use the parking brake so didn't order it. The original AMGs don't have the foot rest neither. MB Canada is running a sale on GLK accessories so all are 10% off.

I managed to get a discount on the carrier box (25%) since it was taken off a GL on the dealer floor, just under $600, regular price is above $800 I believe. Unfortunately, no discount on the roof rack, which goes for around $350...

Smile New Here

Greetings everyone. I used to frequent the MBWorld.org boards a few years ago when I had an SL500, so I'm glad to be back as I await delivery of my GLK. I got mine in Black w/ Almond-Tex, P1, MM, Appearance, Running Boards, iPod/MP3, and heated seats. I've seen a lot of great looking GLKs on this thread, but I have not seen pics of one with this exact configuration. Can someone post some pics if you have them?

It's kinda funny that I bought the car without seeing exactly how it will look! Thanks in advance for any pics!

Welcome back. This is my favorite combo, but I haven't seen it yet on GLK.

Here it is

Picked it up over the weekend and only had a chance to snap this quick pic with my phone. Will take more soon and post them here.

I'm sure I'll have lots of questions after I drive it for a few days, so you'll be hearing more from me soon.

It's good to be back in the MB family!

Thanks. Will do. Can't find my camera at the moment, but took a couple more with my phone.

As far as questions go, I'm still trying to get used to the Navigation System, but I haven't found it to be particularly user friendly. For example, yesterday, I searched for "Nordstrom" and it gave me stores in California (I'm in MD). How do I narrow the search when finding POIs?

very nice, those parking and fog lights look really bright in the pics, and rear lights look tinted, I'm assuming it's just the way pics were taken???

looks very nice tho, it's really hard to make lights look good in pics. I want to take some night shots and play with settings on DSLR so lights come out decent. Last time it was a total failure.

Artic White, one of my favorites.... Wife didn't like it as much as I did, and with it being her car we went with Obsidian Black.
