Usually about a month from the date it is built.

My wife and I have gone back and forth on interior and exterior colors. We have narrowed exterior colors to standard black or white. For the interior colors we like 114 Espresso Brown and 111 Black, both are MB-TEX. What do you guys think of;

Black exterior with 114 Espresso Brown
Polar White with 114 Espresso Brown
Polar White with 111 Black
Black exterior with 111 Black

I know this is all personal preference but I need to be persuaded.

I say Polar White with 114 Espresso Brown.

I ordered my 550 with 799 Diamond White and the 954 design Espresso Brown with a Porcelain DINAMICA Headliner, so you could say I'm biased.

One more for you. And if car says build date of second decade March, for example (March 11 week), how long does it take to be built? 10 days or so?

What would be cool is if MB had a well developed tracker from build date through delivery. From my experience, BMW has a nice online version.

Joe are you aware of any pics online of the Polar White with 114 Espresso Brown? Any Mercedes?

The only configurator I've messed around with is the MB-UK web site and the GLS 450 is not offered in that market, only the 550 and 63 front ends. The USA configurator should be coming online very soon so you'll be able to build your GLS.

I dropped by the dealer this morning. Turned out they did have a black GLE with 114 Espresso Brown MB-TEX interior on the lot. I took pics. There was a white GLE parked right next to it so i was able to see the contrast. I'm going with Polar White. I think it looks better. Here are the pics of the black GLE.

I went with Polar white as well with Ginger Beige interior and black roof liner. I think it is a good combination of colours.

Is that a special order? I thought you had to go with a leather package to go with a black headliner?

was informed today that have some time to make changes on the order
what are thoughts/opinions on diamond silver for a GLS 63? My long time good friend and manager here has advised me against this color, for resale and for looks.. ive never seen a GL in this color and now confused cuz I had thought it would be nice-- now dont know what color to order...
looks like palladium silver and steel grey metallic are gonna stop 5/3 decade -- not sure if any new options are being offered...
but my build is set and scheduled for much before that
thinking of sticking with my previous GL63 lunar blue...

I don't think the GLS would look good in Diamond Silver. It's a frequent favorite of the white hair set. The new color option for 2017 is Cardinal Red. Lunar Blue is nice, Black of course if you can stand it always looking dirty, and Polar White pops.

Diamond silver looks like it almost has a light blue hue to it, so I agree that it doesn't look very good.
