Distronic Quirks
I have been playing with the Distronic feature (first car to have it) and like it (mostly). However, I have noticed some strange anomalies, if not dangerous. Here is an example:
You are following a car in the right most lane (in this case 4 lanes). Red light, car in front of you gradually slows down to car in front of it. New lane appears widening road to 5 lanes with no one in it. Car in front decides to be first in new lane, moves right. Distronic then loses the car in front and starts accelerating into the next car, which is stopped only another 30 feet forward.
This happened to me this morning and I kept my foot ready to hit brakes. Car alarm went off (I believe beeping twice) and I slammed on brakes. I don't know if I would have stopped had I not hit the brake.

It seems that you're not using distronic in the way intended... meaning its more for highway use as opposed to city streets.
