Add HUD head up display
It will be perfect for MB GLS if it has Head-up display just like the feel of BMW x5.
So, I added a HUD head up display unit. It is ok but not best. https://cimg3.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.mbw...80fec7e5be.jpg |
I have seen those. I don't like the dark plastic screen sticking out.

How do you get HUD up on your vehicle? Which product you are using?

I purchased it from online, the HUD Head-up OBDII port plugin. Suggest don't use the provided black sticky rubber mat to directly put on the surface dash. It definitely will leave glue stain on which is very hard to erase later. |
I moved back to South Korea and I am currently driving 2017 E class. My car does not have HUD option on it. I found this aftermarket HUD called APROVIEW. This doesn't require any extra film or glass. The display is on the windshield. The image seems to appear far away. Unlike the others, it is not blur or duplicated. It shows OBD information, speed, navigation or more. This device use ACC power source and shares wireless information. However, not all information was paired and it is a bit chunky. Plus, I am not sure it is available in US now. I'll give you youtube link

Some HK/CN sites seem to carry it -

Does it support english voice and menu? Is it compatible with Google map?
