GLS diesel ever appearing in Canada?
Looking to replace my 2007 GL320CDI. Nothing wrong with it, but it has 300,000km so I guess it's time to start looking at replacements 
I want a X166 GL350 but 2013 (the first year they came out) run $40-45k Canadian. And most of these have over 100,000km at that price.
Seems that according to MB the price of a new GLS350d with driving assistance package (distronic plus, etc.) is only about $93k. I'm not sure if that price would be discounted, but for now let's assume not.
For basically double the price of an almost 5-yr old truck with no warranty and no driving assistance features, I can buy a brand new under warranty truck with all of the above. Seems like a much better deal to me.
Only problem is it seems they are all being held up by diesel certification/EPA/etc.
Is there any word on the street on when (if?) 2017 GL350 diesels will be available in Canada?
I assume the dealers have taken orders and will sell first to those who have placed an order, possibly cleaning out the entire supply of 2017's?
I'm OK waiting till 2018 if I know I can order one. Actually that seems better because why buy a 2017 at end of year when you can buy a 2018 a month later.
