2018 GLS450 Full loaded arrival next week in Toronto
 

I got my fresh order from Michigan as 2018 GLS450 full loaded vehicle except interior AMG package. Basic price increased from CAD829000 to CAD850000, i don't know what change yet. The full payment is CAD100000 before Tax and PDI etc.

Trade my 2017 Range rover sport in, I am going to get my new vehicle by next Wednesday.

Hopefully i can get off road package.

Why did you trade your 2017 RR?

RRS is great car but already drove 2 years so I want to try something difference.

I'm taking delivery this Saturday (Tomorrow~~), was told this is the 1st 2018 in vancouver. got Premium, sports, IDP and TOW.

The off road package is part of the TOW~~

Great, I been told it's 1st 2018 in Toronto and are you sure the off road package is part of TOW? Beside what is TOW exactly? I don't see on my order...

My order shows : Premium/IDP/Sport/Exclusive/ Air lonisation system, no TOW...

It shows as "TOW- enhanced towing package". It was not something I wanted.

in the order guide, it has the followings:

214 Adaptive Damping System (ADS)
430 Enhanced On/Off-Road Package
481 Underside Protection

I don't see on my order and online neither. But my car start price at CAD85000 instead of 82900, what about yours?

Beside I have ADS-Plus I remember but it's included in Sport package.

Mine started $85k as well, that's the change in 2018.

The TOW is $2300 and in the order guide, it did say 214 (ADS) will replace 215 (ADS plus)

My ending price at CAD100k before tax but I don't see the choice of Tow enhance anyway. Little sad that I wish I could have off road package.

I have been waiting for it since January and was told will be around mic-November.

That's only one in Toronto suppose for show room. I am loyatal customer of MB so they send this car to me. I placed order last Wednesday actually. Black exterior with Ginger/Black interior. How much you paid for yours?

Nice, I got a black/black too. Mine is $98750 before tax. But I don't have the exclusive package or Air lonisation system. I do have the wood steer though, not a big deal but I prefer leather.


My original order includes the climate seats and AMG interior, but need to wait another 3 months for it... when dealer contacted me about it, feels like those were not a big deal, so jump on this right away.

Did you receive your new car? Any idea for the new changes and pic?

Morning~ got the car on Saturday, worth the wait.

Haven't notice any difference from 2017, except the price difference.

BTW, one thing I have notice is there is NO third row AC vent in mine because I do not have the exclusive package.

That is so beauty and awesome car.... Unfortunetly my delivery to the Concorde by last week and supposed ship to dealership by yesterday. But Concorde delayed the delivery and I done paper works today and I will have my car by tomorrow afternoon...

i wish I can have off road package but I doubt it.

I got my truck last Friday, it is beautiful car. For the driving experience couple of days, I have to say it is luxury and intelligence car. Intelligence drive package worth it.
Off course the off road capability will not compete with my Range Rover Sport. RRS feel more powerful and more exciting when you accelerate, MB is more conformable.
I wish I can have the off road package and I though I have vent car seat but it is not. 3rd row vent much help and useful. Size and space is great, perfectly fit into my garage with my wife's car.
21" rim is not born for off road, fuel consumption are acceptable range.
Test 0-100km acceleration at 6.71 seconds, it might not accurate but it's quite good result.
Speaker with logic 7 HK better than my RRS original(I don't have meridian sound).
Anyway GLS is the car you need for commute and family. May not durable off road but it can handle regular challenge(I never bring my RRS to extreme off road drive).
But if MB can equipped water level monitor like RRS it will be very useful.

Hi there! Congrats on the GLS'! Hmm... without the exclusive package, can you tell me if there are air vents in the 2nd row on the B-pillars and the centre console in the 2018 model?

Thanks and you will have vent on the B pillars and centre console without exclusive package. But you will only have 2 zone climate control that's all.

Thanks for confirming. We only have the premium and sports package. And debating if we need the exclusive package. So far I haven't read that the air flow is insufficient without air vents in the 3rd row, so I assume it should be good. Still waiting for delivery.

secondly, has anyone done rust-proofing to their GLS before? Is it needed or is everything covered up under the car?

Looks awesome! I noticed that your front windows are tinted. Can you tell me what level of tint is it on your car? We got 35%. Not sure if this goes well with the tinted windows in in the back but it's what our sales consultant suggested.
