Is it possible the lay 2nd row seats completely flat in a GLS?
Hi All,
Just wondering if there is a way to get the 2nd row seats in a GLS to lay flatter for cargo than what I've seen in pictures?
Pictures I've seen of the GL show that the seat cushions roll forward and allow the seats to sit somewhat flatter.
I've never seen a GL in person but it looks like the seats operate the same as the GLS except if you want them flatter you have the option to do so. Interestingly I found this one picture of a GLS that shows the seats configured the same as a GL with the 2nd row completely flat which looks ideal.
I thought maybe it was actually a photo of a GL, but the dash and display look like a GLS..
I'm seriously considering a GLS for our expanding family but also often need to transport lots of smaller boxes that I stack in my current car as all the seats lay flat. It looks awkward/difficult to stack anything flat if the seats sit at quite an angle in the GLS so I'm hoping there is an option...
Thanks for any input on this
David

Thank you for confirming that, that is great! I'm a bit more excited about that than I should be but it was something that was bugging me a bit. I can cross that one off my short list of negatives.
I had looked through the user manual trying to find details before posting originally but didn't see reference to it. However, I was looking on the relative small screen of my phone and have just had another look on a bigger computer screen. I see the section I was looking at was just about folding the seats down for entry and exit, there is a separate section ~200 pages away (page 304-305) about configuring it for cargo which clearly shows they lay flat completely
Thanks
David
