I got my letter as well but MB is still working to obtain the necessary parts to correct it. We'll receive another letter when MB can complete the work (free of charge).

It's a cap on the reservoir, not a big deal.

What's funny is, my GL550 just happens to be in the shop for an active curve issue. It started over 6 months ago with a leaking reservoir, failed end links, and this time the entire hydraulic mechanism has been changed out under CPO warranty. I come back today after 10 days of vacation (car was finally fixed 2 days ago), to see this recall notice. I'm wondering now if I still have to go back for the modified part once "ready."
