I just bought a 2017 GLS63 totally loaded w/15k miles
about 30% off MSRP |
Of course it’s a good time to buy one. You will likely get a good percentage off. The question is, what are your wants and needs? The 2020 GLS will have more to offer. See the 2020 GLE thread or forum to get an idea of what the 2020 GLS will offer. Good luck! |

We're in a similar boat but decided to go with the '19 GLS. Let the kinks get worked out of the new model as well as let the pricing normalize. 1st ones out on the road usually don't get much room for negotiating. Plus who knows if there will be some hidden nuggets MB throws in for the last MY.

Depends on your time frame. The new one wont be out for almost a year. The present GLS is amazing. I suspect the 20 will polish handling, have even more space and the latest command which is significantly better than the present one on the GLS.

Op, you have to answer this within your self ultimately. If you want the latest and the greatest tech within, I wait. In the other hand, you really don't mind the dated interior tech with old body styling, you can get a decent discounts on the remaining inventory in the dealer lot.

The real advantage of waiting till the new models hits the dealership is that the older one will have even more discount (if you wanted that one). Good thing comes to those who wait.
