Tire Pressure for Winter?
Hi all,
So there are a number of threads on tire pressure, but it is still hard to know what is right. Instead, let's try consensus: For a 2018 GLS450 shod with: 275/55R-19 BRIDGESTONE BLIZZAK DM-V2 on 19x8.5 rims I have them at 32 per the fuel cap door, but is that right? What should the tire pressure be, front and back for typically loads driving around this winter? Potentially without having to measure temperatures across the tire/draw chalk lines, etc... I've added a poll, but feel free to be more specific. Thank you all! |
I voted 38/38--I actually use 39/39--but living in central Texas, the winter is not really present.

I am on a new set of the DM-V2 and on one of the coldest mornings we've had, I set mine at 38/38.

Use the exact same one you use for summer. Unless you are going to use it as a snowplow there is no benefit to lower pressure.
