Sharing - GLS 550 Muffler Delete
 

Wanted to share this information for anyone who is interested….Just got my muffler delete done on my 2019 GLS 550 yesterday….it is definitely “roars” but and you can hear / feel it being aggressive especially in sports mode. It’s agressive enough for me as i was thinking about removing the resonator but dont think i will….. forget the silent and quite Mercedes’ ride….and its amazing.

Keep the old muffler if you get a fix it ticket or if you decide to go revert back. There are smart mufflers that use app control or switches but for $280 bucks, thought of starting here …The GLS 63 has a AMG button on the steering wheel to open and close the pipes.

I was not looking for any tuning, pops etc but at times when down shift get occasional pops.

I kept the muffler but removed the resonator
