Hi. New to me 2017 GLS. TX requires a front plate but it looks like the previous owner didn't use it. TX law enforcement sometimes uses the lack of a front plate to pull you over, and then see what else they can find. It happened to me with my previous GL. Now that I have vanity plates I want the plate on the front as well. I found these items in the door pocket. The long one looks like a plate bracket that you would use with a surround and self tapping screws. That's how the GL's went on, only the bracket was full sized and used 4 screws. So is this the bracket and does anyone have a photo of it installed? Anyone use a sto-and-sho gizmo? TIA. PS anybody recognize the 2 pcs that look like pirate eye patches? Whatever they are, there's a right and left.

For the Front Plate i use CravenSpeed Tow Hook Bracket, i angle it so i doesnt mess with the Parktronic Radars, i didn't want too Drill holes in the bumper. i do have the Factory Bracket just never installed it.
