2017 gls550 AT tires recommendation
please recommend with out modifying ..what tires are found (AT or snow )
Over the years I have personally tried Michelin, Continental, Pirelli and Bridgestones. For snow you cannot beat the relatively new Michelin Cross-Climate SUV tires which are about as good as you can get without installing expensive studded snow tires. If you are just anticipating freeway driving and light snow then the all-season Michelin Pilot Sports and LTX are quite satisfactory (and probably the Primacy as well).
I like the Pirellis but the ride was very rough on my 450 so I returned them (thankfully no cost to switch). IMO Pirelli is better for sedans, great performance but they always wear fast. Continental makes the best runflats and also great for sedans - never tried them on SUV. I have only had bad experience with Bridgestones and will never buy another tire from that company.
