What part of the center console? How could it be getting hot?🤔

The entire console from cup holders to back end. Inside console was so hot you could not touch the plastic. I had a knife in there, and could hardly touch it . Dealer has no clue yet of cause. Could be Transmission under console or wiring issue.

Still waiting for ours to be scheduled because we picked a designo trim option not yet available. DOG said January but we might be waiting a long time if others have April already. We might try changing it to see if it can be scheduled. OR maybe we’ll be getting a ‘21.
i saw a 6 seater 450 today. I‘m tempted to switch to that since seeing they recline.

Mine is in B3 - X-10 PROD status with estimated build date of 1/6. I originally had 12/16 but got bumped 3 weeks. No reason given but I do have E-ABC spec'ed. I changed my interior choice to Grey/Black Nappa to avoid further delays.
Just sold my 2010 GL350 on Christmas Eve. Didn't think it would go that fast but posted late 12/23 evening and had at least 10 people who expressed interest (some of which were low ballers or scammers) within 12 hours. Sold it to the first person who came to look at it. He wanted to give it to his wife as a Christmas present.

Same thing happened to my build got pushed back 3 weeks and am told i'll see it in early to mid Jan
Dealer said had to do with my option list - car coming in about 115K - couldn't pass on all the goodies - 23's and upgraded interior etc
Looking forward to another awesome GLS ride

I stuck with the AMG 21" Twin spokes with black shading but mine is coming in around the same. Compared it to list price on my 2010 GL350 and it is almost exactly $50K more. About a 75% increase. Granted the GL350 was the bottom of the model line, so if I compared like for like models (GL550) it is probably more like a $30K difference. Inflation makes up about half of that amount so the real dollar increase is more like $15K over the GL550.

what I was told is that 2-3 weeks after build, is reasonable to expect delivery

My 2020 GLS 580 was built on December 6, 2019 and will be delivered to the dealership on January 6, 2020. Problem is, I will be out of the country until January 11.

I just got my VIN today. Apparently they started the build on Dec 31 and it's supposed to be done on Monday. I live in DC area, so it goes through Baltimore VPC, so I'm guessing I should have it by Jan 17.

Mine has been sitting in Vance VBC all week and is in a hold status. I'm wondering if it is the roof spoiler option. Anyone else get the roof spoiler and did it cause any delays with your shipment from Vance?
