2002 E320
2017 GLS450 oil consumption

I have a 2017 GLS450 (14.5k miles) that I need to add 1/3 q of oil every 2,000 miles, but there is no signs of oil leak.
I also have a 2002 E320, with 104k miles, never needed to add oil in between oil changes.
I had other cars before, Toyota Sienna/Camry, Lexus RX350, Nisan Maxima. All of them had 0 oil consumption. Do you think there is something wrong with the engine? Appreciate your feedback.

The 2020 GLS model has a new inline-six 3.0-liter engine. Isn't it unusual that the original 3.0-liter V6 twin-turbo engine was only used for 3 years?

In my experience all turbo charged engines tend to consume more oil then non-turbo engine. The M276 family of engines in your 2017 GLS has been in use since 2011 in some parts of the world and 2012 in USA so it's more than 3 years.
