Wireless charger
Anybody else have an Iphone 12 pro max and the wireless charge works for 10 seconds then stops? I even tried taking my case off and it has same issue. Wonder if there is an issue with the wireless charger in my car or the iphone 12 pro max just doesn’t fit right.

I have an iPhone 11 Pro with an Apple leather case. Before I bought the 580, I set the phone in the cradle to make sure that it would work. It worked great! After the paperwork was done and I was getting ready to leave the dealership, I set the phone in the charger and nothing happened. It absolutely refused to recognize the charger. The young lady "concierge" who was showing me how the car worked set her phone in the charger and it worked, so I figured it was some problem with my phone. Internet research revealed that when a phone fails to charge you should shut it completely off and turn it back on again. Did that, and it worked. No more problems with the phone charging.. Try it. I hope it cures your problem.

I have the same issue. I have the iphone 12 pro. I have tried charging with no case, the magnasafe case from Apple, no difference. I can't charge it using the wireless charge. I took it to the dealership and they told me they tested it with different phones and it worked with all of them so they couldn't replicate the issue. Annoying.

Not sure if this is the same problem but I have a wireless charging stand at home I use for my iPhone X. It worked fine for a while and then it wouldn't charge one day. I played around but couldn't get it to work. So I ordered a new one. That arrive and it also wouldn't charge the iPhone. So I did some searching on the Apple forums and discovered this is an issue with the iPhone and the only way to fix it is to do a full power down and restart. It works every time iPhone refuses to charge on my home wireless charger. I haven't run into the problem with my 580 but maybe you want to try a power off reboot?

neither does the iphone 12 (pro) max with a modest size case. i didn't want a max for a few reasons (couldn't find a non-max 12 pro), and this is just another one. i really wish the compartment was roomier, or that the charger was somewhere more convenient.

I think the optional center charger for the rear seats will fit essentially anything.

The wireless charger is basically pointless for me since you still have to plug in for AndroidAuto and Carplay. And when the phone is plugged in there is no place to put it so you just have to wedge it in the cupholder. The whole center console is poorly designed and not thought out.

No it really isn't. Nothing is better than Google's real time traffic info. I can't count how many times it has saved me time by routing me thru what seems like a silly detour. Sometimes I don't listen and I always end up regretting it. No other system is that good.

I'm having the same issue. Did anyone solved it after replacing the part or any other way? I'm having the issue with a new GLC COUPE. Starts charging and a few seconds later stops with an error related to an 'foreign object'.

There is software update the dealer can apply to fix the issue now.
