Third Row won't fold
 

Hi everyone, I’m running into an issue with my 2019 GLS450 where the power third-row seats are completely unresponsive. The Symptoms: Neither seat will move via the trunk or rear-door switches. The indicator lights on the switches are completely dark. I had to manually fold them to get them down today.Hi everyone,

I’m running into an issue with my 2019 GLS450 where the power third-row seats are completely unresponsive.

The Symptoms:

Neither seat will move via the trunk or rear-door switches.

The indicator lights on the switches are completely dark.

I’ve checked the fuses and they appear to be intact.

I had to manually fold them to get them down today.

Has anyone dealt with a dead Seat Control Module or a specific "hidden" fuse that controls the power to these switches? Any advice before I take it to the dealer would be much appreciated!

There was a lengthy thread not too long ago, maybe a month ago.

I recently had this problem in my 2020 GLS 580. (And you may have already tried this…) The solution was that the 2nd row captains chairs were not locked in position. They had been tumbled, but when placed back in to the upright position, there was not the audible “click”. There was a lot of frustration before we finally figured it out.
