New Corvette got OWN3D!!!!
I took a quick trip down the PCH, ignoring my whoring promise with NOTKTS, and made a u-turn somewhere at Dana Point. Its about 9 at night, and I was coming back and had to make a left at a light. So I stopped.
And waited...
the light turned green, and there was not a soul in sight, much less a car... but-- whats this? To my left, making the left turn I was, came a brand new Corvette. Fresh-plates on it. Black. He doesn't even slow down for the turn and even guns it a little as if to "show me up."
I followed...
Not fast, just drove off the line casually, letting him be a fool. I was letting it slide, he was in his mid-late 20s and had a blonde chick with him in his Vette, and plus I didn't want to kill his new-car pride... than another red light up-ahead.... aw hell, why the heck not... and if I had any second thoughts about destroying him, his "mad-dog-stare" removed it. For no reason, he was "mad-*******" me, and to think, I was just about to give him the thumbs up.
No chance...
He revvs his engine and just as it dies down the light snaps green, and sure enough, there he went. Full out rubber on pavement contact, and than stopped after noticing I did not follow-- or in my case, lead. I slowly pull next to him, and still he eyed me. So I did what anyone in my position would do... dip in the pedal and cut him off...
and so I did... he was a good little boy and didn't do anything foolish...
So I made a right to start heading home, and as I made that right I slowly pulled out... to see if he would follow... after doing 20 MPH for about 5 seconds, I see him pull from the turn and hammer on the throttle-- smoke spewin' out like second-nature.
He thought he was damn cool...
I still didn't hammer on the throttle, instead waited until he was a car length behind me and I was on it! My speedometer flew from 30--32-- to be exact to 60 before I knew it, and he was behind... and just like the Porsche 911, I swear he too hit a brick wall.
He must have been doing at least 60 when he tried to pass me, but it was a no-go.

I killed his pride, I killed his car, but most of all I killed him!

He probably went home and ordered a Z06... like that will help. 3.6 = Z06?
No. And again, I wasn't in the mood to really race. They always come out when I have no interest and they insist on racing. Oh well, that should hold his foot up next time he see's me...
Sorry NOTKTS, while you were waiting, I was owning.
did you know that i raced your son a long time ago? he was in a mustang GT with some buddies. it was on pch. i OWNED HIM!! lol hese a cool kid.

No, I didn't. My son raced you in his GT? Hmm... he's a bit fast, are you sure you're stock? Im going to talk to my son about this and see what he's going to say. My son races Camaros and kills-- there is no way he could have lost. Are you stock?
Im confused, I'll talk to him, he has:K&N Air Filter
FlowMaster Exhaust
Mass Air flow Sensor
Air Silencer removed
Wouldn't you know it? Small world though... nice kill on the GT, I suppose. How long ago was this?
