E430 vs. WRX OUTCome!
well, finally i did it! the coxky wrx driver asked me to meet him for a match of 3 runs and 3 more runs on the highway. taped them on DV as well!!! i don't have the footage though...sorry. and 3 more runs on the highway.
OFF THE LINE RUNS- he was faster off the line, but i caught up quickly all three times. i didn't think his car was fast at all, it was quite slow...after 50-60km/h the 430 took him easily. i expected him to do better actually.
ON THE HIGHWAY RUNS- we met again the same day and did the 3 run at night around 10:00pm so there were fairly little cars. we slowed down to 80km/h and counted to 3 through our cell phones. this wasn't much of a race...the wrx didn't pull on me at all.
AFTER AT TIM HORTONS- i treated him to a coffee and muffin after the highway runs, and talked over what had happened. he wasn't as coxky as before anymore, but blamed his car for having a full tank of gas, and his girlfriend caused extra weight. well, its a race and i thought there must be discrepencies, but his girlfriend hardly weighs anything at all!! she's so godamn skinny! but maybe there are some truth in his words. not sure.
i'm glad i came out on top of the wrx AUTO. but i dun think i'd like to mess with the manuals...o well, i'm happy with the results.

Cool race. I knew the results before the race. As I said, the WRX autos aren't that quick. I test drove one and it felt kinda slow. Never driven a stick, but killed one yesterday with BPUs. Your E430 should be pretty quick. Nice Kill.

Thanks for all the compliments guys! and yea..their engine definitely loses its "umph" after a certain very low speed...i saw him in 2 of my classes today..somehow, he's not looking towards me anymore
nor did he tell anyone about the race..o well, i'm not telling anyone at school. save further embarrasment for him:p
