Hi me and my friends did some runs in mexico lol

E550 C VS 1999 Z28, Z28 MODS- FULL EXHAUST, PROGRAMER, INTAKE BEST 1/4MILE 13.1@104

1st run 0-90 by the end of the run i pulled mabye 1 car on it.

2nd run 15-120 i started pulling at 60-65mph by the end of the race i had around 4 cars on it he claims he missed a gear.

3rd run 60-135 in 3rd gear i pulled instantly till the end beat him by about 4-5 cars.

E550 C VS GTO-BONE STOCK BEST 1/4MILE 13.3@106 6MT

1st run 0-100 i pulled very easy off the line due to the bad traction of the GTO had him by at least 2-3 cars by the end of the race

2nd run 20-110 gto gets a small jump, 1st gear pull he holds me back untill the end of 3rd gear then i slighty pull on him by a half a car.

3rd run 50-130 i started in 2nd gear i slighty pull on him right away and pull just a tad more by the end of the race i had 2 cars on him.

FROM 30-120 I KILL IT LOL. P.S MY CAR TOPS OUT AT 142mph thats why i didnt take it past 130-135

IM geting it tuned by MHP. garuntees 40hp/40tq and torque limiter removed. on my ipod dino my car does 0-60 in 4.8 seconds

But i did happen to run into a E55 on the street and it wasnt perty

Nice kills. Did the Z-28 need a serious driver mod though? Seems like he should have ran like the GTO if not better.

+1...either driver SUCKS or that is one SLOW LS1 (i think 98+ Z28s were LS1s right?)

an LS1 with full exhaust (headers, catback), lid, and i'm guessing by programmer you mean tune?....should smoke an E550

my buddies 01 LS1 camaro with full exhaust (LTs, catback), lid, and light tune (i think rather it isnt a tune, but he had some guy delete all the codes from installing the LTs)......runs a 12.9 at 112 at a 3000DA on street tires....runs right with me (at least trap speed wise).

Good runs man! That e550 def can move. I raced a friends w212 E550 4matic the other day. He wanted just to see how he holds up lol.

0-110mph - off the line the 550 instantly got ahead of me bout 1 1/2-2 car lengths on me due to my traction issues but by the end of the race I was bout 2 car lengths ahead.

E550 coupe is lighter and rear wheel drivr so they def moving !

Since were in the topic of LSx motors. I recently ran a 2010 Camaro SS he claimed 500hp. His car was louder than mine. He put up a good fight until I started to pull up top. Kind of surprised me. Well of course I was in my C63 still stock.

What speed was it you started to pull and was his an auto or 6M?

Not sure if it was auto or manual. I started to pull 120+. It sure was a tight run. Those cars lbs about the same as a C63. So much for 451hp for the C63.

the driver in the Z28 had a C5 Z06 that ran 12.1, so im sure he knows how to drive lol. The gto was a 2006 6.0 its very fast in 3rd gear.

a 13.1 at 104 for a LS1 Z28 with tune, full exhaust, and lid is EXTREMELY SLOW. so either he couldnt drive or the conditions must have been unbearable. my buddy's LS1 camaro with same mods minus a tune runs 12.9 at 112 at 3000 DA. and he is a great driver.

and he likely modded the c5 z06 leading to that great of time...if not, maybe tires. regardless, that time and trap for a ls1 z28 is embarassing. you sure on the yr? perhaps it is an LT1...that would make much more sense

Ya thats wat he told me i dont know much about muscle cars but he said it was a 1999. i was looking at the camaro forums and with bolt ons thease cars rund mid 12s and trap around 108-112. so mabye he had a slow camaro. We ran from a roll too and i still beat him, the gto pulled much stronger up top then the camaro. M coupe is a bmw
