Have had my 2010 E-350 for about 7 months now so why is it every Infiniti, Honda, late model American sports car want to race...especially the Infiniti group, always riding my a** and then flooring it. Do people have such an inferiority complex about MB's I dunno, just venting.

I don't know where you live, but by me there are tons of kids who get the new infinitis and think they are the fastest things around.
Kids used to try and race me in my c320 ( sig pic) but it was so slow.
Now i race every single one in my c32 just to put em in their place.
BTW the e350 aint that slow. I remember my friend had an 07 e350 on lease and raced a sligtly modded gti stick shift and won. lol

I can explain, you said:
"why is it every Infiniti, Honda, late model American sports car want to race."
These guys always want to race. I've never seen an Infiniti G35 or G37 that wasn't ready to race a bit or weave in and out of traffic, lol. You could be walking and they will be racing. Sometimes the cars people choose reflect their psychology and vise-versa, so they tend to drive more aggressively. (And I mean the racier models from these brands, obviously most Honda's are driven by normal people, a few are "racy".)

The other day a Nissan 1400 pick-up raced me and gave me a decent hiding, some of those things are real quick.
I tipped my hat to him, if you beat a S600 with a small pick-up you've earned it.

If you were around here I would temp you just to see how good of a decent driver you are. No good if your car goes 0-60 in 4 or 5 seconds & the driver is worth for poop.

I can assure you that even the worst driver in an E55 should beat a C230 given that it is an automatic tranny....and assuming you mean more than 100 feet.

To even stay in the same zip as an E55 it would need to be busy and you'd have to driving in a way that endangered every other road user...the only good thing is few if any E55 drivers would bother to race a c230...kindly grow up.

Sorry MOM, should have been more clear. A clear highway where the curves and hills are they only things that slow you down.

Woah. No Need for the name calling. I gave my opinion on the subject. Never said it was written in stone.
Now what kind of owner would I be if I didn't have faith in my own car?
