ML OEM Bi-xenon headlights in Ebay

Anyone bought anything from this seller or tried this same kit? Is it really plug and play? I'm looking to do a xenon upgrade on the ML, I wanted to get an aftermarket HID but I'm worried about blinding oncoming traffic. This OEM bi-xenon kit in ebay is supposedly auto levelling as well. Does the dealer need to set the computer of the car to xenons even for aftermarket kits or just for the oem bi-xenon kits? I'm afraid they wont set them if they are aftermarket. And if it is an OEM kit will they set the computer eventhough the kit wasnt bought from them or the car didnt originally came with one?

I bought the halogen prjectors from him. Very satisfied with my purchase. Total plug and play on my 2000 ML430.

If I remember correctly, the auto-leveling feature will only work when the lights are installed at the factory. I believe this issue has been discussed on all forums about upgrades to xenons. You may wish to do a search about it. The W203 thread will have a plethora of information on this issue.

No auto leveling unless its a factory install. The leveling sensors are separate from the light assemblies and from what I have read I do not believe they are retrofittable.

I think I can get an Xtec HID kit for a good price, if I go this route will the dealer still need to set the computer to xenons? Anyone have an aftermarket HID in an 02+ ML?
