Noticed today that my trip computer was locked up, would not calculate anything nor would it reset. Worst of all it did not turn off when the car was shut down. This is a problem as tomorrow I am leaving on a 5 day trip and the car will be sitting at the airport. Not wanting to come home to a dead battery I took it to the dealer and asked them to disable it which they did. I knew something had to go wrong as I expected my new W164 any day. To my surprise, upon arrival at my dealer's they took me downstairs and showed me my new car which had arrived 30 min earlier. Made plans to accept it next Fri.

I guess you really don't care about the trip computer anymore anyway. Congrats and many many problem free MLing in your new 164.
