door weather strip for pre 2000 MLs

Anyone replaced the stock weather strips with the new ones that came after 2000? My dad has a 98 and its very noisy at highway speeds.
I was wondering if anyone has a p/n or pricing info and if it can be done on your own (i'm assuming it can).

BTW - just replaced the stock tires w/ michelin cross terrains - HUGE improvement.
