** 22's Install on the ML! **
Well, got the 22's installed on Thursday in time for SEMA, however wasn't able to show because I had to be back in Jersey on Saturday. The wheels are 22x10" OZ Canyon STs with 285/35/22 Nitto 555 Extremes. The rims look huge in person, more like 24's. Got alot of compliments on them, i love them, and they are strong as hell too. Sorry for the crappy pics, took them before the sun went down. Enjoy!

Looks awesome! What suspension are you running? I'm thinking of getting into an ML myself (can't stop staring at the '05 SpecEd in Pewter when I see one roll by) and would definitely like to get a set of wheels and maybe a moderate drop.
I've heard that lowering ML's only result in a very harsh ride quality--how has your experience been? Can't wait for the bodykit...should look amazing!!! PS-I've been a Bimmer guy myself for a while...I think I've seen you post on the BMW boards also? |
Hey man, I'm also on E46 and Bimmerforums... same name.
I'm dropped on H&R Sport Springs... gave me a good 2 inch drop in the rear, manually dropped the front myself. I have a 3 finger gap between the fender and tire. The ride could be better, it is a little harsh over serious bumps, but overall I am happy, and surprisingly, with the new wheels, the ride improved. It's a good setup, no doubt. I can't wait for the kit either, just need to get some cash. Auto-Couture isn't cheap. |
I like the way you mod the M-class. How did you lower it? |

Hello,
My 2000 ML 320 has a constant check engine light that came on. It read error code po 170 self adapt. at limit(N3/10) and PO173 self adapt. at limit(N3/10) I have clean the fuel injector system and the light went off for a couple of days and it came back on. Any advise will be very much appreciated. Thanks AL |

Thanks guys.
I cut the AMG tip and put magnaflow dual tips on my 430 w/sports package. http://tinyurl.com/hu2oj BTW vik, thanks for your suggestion on lowering. It came out very nice I think. |
jojo how did you remove the roof rack or did some else do it for you? looks way different!
|
They were held by screws with loctite so you need a heatgun to melt them
down first. I removed them myself but a bodyshop filled holes and made fiberglass strips (I belive) to cover the whole thing. |
Nice looking rims ViK. harsh ride??? really? that kinda sucks. I'm trying to decide between aluminum or crome 22"s myself. Any advice, suggestions, personal preferences, whatever...? I got a dark blue ML 320, wondering if chrome would be too much.... I really like the look of the aluminum now that I see it, but thats a silver ML....hmmmm....
anyway, congrats brotha.... |
