Hey

Hi
I Am New New To This Stuff...
I Have 2001 Ml 320 And Recently My Keyess Remote Doesnt Work..
Changed The Batteries .... It Works Sometimes And Sometimes It Doesnt Work.......
My Car Has An Engine Light ... I Check It On An Obd Scanner It Said Evap...1 And 2 Cant Remeber The Codes Exactly.... So My Engine Light Comes On And Off For Like 5,6 And When My Engine Light Comes Off It Runs Like **** For Like A Minute Then Its Perfect Some One Told Me It Was Massairflow Sensor So I Replaced It Not Difference.. I Am Thinkin Thats It Both O2 Sensors Before The Cat ......if Anyone Can Relate Or Help

sounds like a sensor problem...
if u still have warranty, take it to the dealer.

Just a reminder to all. The Cats have a 7 year warranty. So if you suspect a problem with the cats the dealer should be able to do a free diagnostic and if it is the cat they will fix it under warranty. My guess is your cats have cracked which will set off the check engine light.

Have you tried reprogramming your remote? You have to do this when you change the batteries, its in the owners manual.
