98 ml320 can't unlock from inside
Just purchased this vehicle with no owner's manual. The central lock switch on the center console will lock all doors but won't UNLOCK any. All work fine from the remote. Any suggestions?

Doors not unlocking could also be a relay problem..
Although, since yours unlock with the keyless, I would seriously doub't that any of the relays are a problem.
There are 3 (probably 4) relays involved in locking/unlocking....I just fixed a doors not unlocking problem by replacing a relay, but mine didn't unlock in any way...so it seemed like an electrical problem.
Just a tit bit..if any of your door lock relays go bad, it results in car not starting problem...turn the ignition - nothing happens.
Try a couple of times, and if you are lucky that bad relay actuates and your car will start.
The problem drove me nuts last week..and I was only guessing that somehow the lock relay is linked to that ignition problem...but sure enough, the problem has disappeared since yesterday after I replaced the door unlock relay...

Have the same problem, although mine has progressed. The remote has stopped working. Except when I hold the lock button down and click the unlock button down 5 times. This will allow me to lock the doors with the remote but The doors have to be unlocked with the key. It only locks the car one time. The process has to be repeated. The batteries are new in the remote. I purchased a new key and fob but the dealership could not program and could not give me a price to repair. That's scary. I'm thinking possibly a low voltage battery that holds the codes in case you change the battery? A simple relay would be to easy.
