They should be fine. But I recommend getting the OEM ones (you can get them on ebay also). The ones you have listed are the euro version look and that is illegal in the usa, so you might run into trouble if the cops have nothing to do.

He probably wont get pulled over for that, my guess would be if he got pulled over for something else and the cop wanted to be a dick and try and write as many tickets as possible. I knew a kid back in high school that had clear corners on his chevy pickup and he got pulled over (pulled over for limo tint) and the cop wrote him tickets for just about everything on his car including the lights.

A buddy of mine got them put in, horrible fitment and the quality is cheap, the lens already cracked from a rock chip. Go OEM and save yourself the headache. He had to convert back to the non-projector lights, and he wasn't happy.

What you're most likely referring to is the bi-xenon projector headlights, which were available on ML320/ML350/ML500 since 2002. They were never standard from what I was told, and were always part of a package.

in 04 and 05 I believe they came standard in the ML500...
Andrew, I already get pulled over quite a bit, and because of the factory non projector xenons in the 2000 ML55 was questioned a little bit, it also doesnt help that I have tint that meters at 12%... he asked me about them, and then I told him a little bit about the car And what AMG means and gave him the MB marketing schpiel. He didnt believe me till I showed him the spot on the headlights where you could actually store the HID ballast... he was like right on... he even let me off the speeding violation...
