Sluggish from stop, won't accelerate

Hello all, I have a question about my 2000 ML320. When I'm on a dead stop at a light/sign, the suv does not want to accelerate, rpms are stuck around
900-1200k area w/ gas pedal to the floor, then sometimes it would jerk back
and actually accelerate, even around 35+ mph there is bog when pressing the gas. I'm thinking it could be the MAF sensor?, I've used MAF cleaner twice but no fix. I'm ruling out CPS since it starts fine every time. No CEL on dash or my scanner. Hope its nothing major such as transmission. Any of you had similar problems? what did you do to resolve? thanks for looking.

Sluggish

Mine was doing the same thing, switched MAF, and Fuel Pump. Worked great after that....not sure which one was causing the issue....

Brought it to the Stealership, they replaced the spark plugs and maf.
Everything was well until I pulled up to the driveway when it acted up again.
Can a clogged fuel filter cause this?
