BAS ESP light - Brake switch
 

Hi I have a 2003 ML350. The BAS/ESP light recently came on, i reset it once but it came back and will not reset now. From this forums info I was going to replace the brake light switch. but can not find it. it is not on the brake pedal. was it moved at some point ? is it thr booster under the hood ? I can clearly see were one would insert at the top of brake pedal but it is not there nor any wireing. I would greatly appreciate any help. Thanks
