Navigation cd's
Hello, new to the group. Just purchased a previously owned 2002 ML320. I want to purchase the correct navigation cd's needed for this vehicle. I've seen several on ebay, but don't know the correct cd's for this vehicle or the compatability with cd's from other Mercedes vehicles. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I think the easiest thing to do is contact a M/B Parts Dept and ask them for the part number for the latest Nav Cd for your model, then search that number on eBay or just get it there....

Somewhere around 2002 Mercedes switched to a DVD nav system. I recommend going with Benzo's suggestion to contact Mercedes parts department with your vin# to see what system you have. NavTeq.com sells the latest DVD disk. They no longer carry the CD's which required 10 CD for North America. The dealer may still have the CD but the last update was around 2004 if I remember correctly.
If you have the old CD system you can easily change to the DVD system. All you need is the DVD drive/nav system that is installed in the top section of your MCS. E-Bay may have some DVD drives for sale for a reasonable price. They go from around $600 to $1,200.
