Bi xenon Retrofit !!!!
Hy guys I was wondering if any of you had any Information about retrofitting 2003 Bi xenon headlights to 2001 ML . I went to my dealer today and ask them about it and they told me it's gonna take a lot of work . My questions is , Is it plug and play ? and do I need additional brackects to hold the headlights ? Any Info will be very much appreciated !!!

If you have the adapters it is complete plug and play and takes around 20 minutes or less for both lights. The bi-xenon fit the same as the ones you now have. The only thing you will not have is the washer system and the self leveling. If you do not have the adapters you will have to mess with the wiring pinouts to get them to work. You can order the adapters from Performance Products @1-800-243-1220 x7611, Richard. Tell him you need the bi-xenon ones as they also have the ones for the halogen lamps. Hope this helps.

Question for you.......
Where did you get your Bi-xenons from? Last I heard they were selling the adapters for $40. Since you are in San Marino you could opt to pick them up since they are located in Van Nuys. No, even with the adapters the auto-leveling will not work. With the 2001 model you will not need the dealer to activate them. After I installed mine I did have the dealer properly adjust them. Cost me $66.
