New headlamp assemblies issues

I have a 2004 ML 350 that I recently installed a new headlamp assembly on the driver side and have to put a new one on the passenger side. What i am having trouble with is the light beam cuts off fully at the top. We adjusted the height but still the strange cutoff is still there. As you can see in the picture it is right at the top of the where the beam should be. Any ideas what I can do to get rid of it.

Put the original one back in and see what happens.

That would be a great idea if I could but the original one was damaged.

If it was a knock-off that you installed, it is usually the wiring set-up.

Remove the new one and compare the wiring to the old one.
