Thanks John |
EPC shows nothing for that part number. Are you sure that is the right number?

This is the closest I could get to what you are referring to. It protects the adjustment screw for the torsion bar/front spring.

I assume it is part of a kit/assembly or discontinued. roy@pelicanparts.com . |

The part and its number comes straight from EPC net, M/B on-line parts list.
What catalog are you referring to? We have access to a lot catalogs, but in this case I was referring to the MB price catalog. If it was a valid stand alone part, it would have come up with a listing/price. Usually: * This means MB only offers it as part of a KIT or assembly. * The part is no longer available through MB. roy@pelicanparts.com . |

You guys did all this work and the OP only posted twice, 15 days ago, with no pictures which would have made all the difference in Id'ing this part.

M/B is very precise when it comes to parts and their numbers. If it was included in a kit, the part would look exactly like #68 or #70.

Mike Yes I understand that Mike, but the tail end of this thread was about parts and their nomenclature and nothing more. |
