Satillite Radio
When I went to MB's C Spot Drive event (https://mbworld.org/forums/showthrea...threadid=46084), they had a bunch of MB models with the Sirius radio system. The system was extremely poorly-installed. The ML IMO had the worst installation - the antenna (which is very flimsy) was installed to the right of the GPS antenna in the back and as such looks pretty bad in that location - the thin black antenna wire comes down through the gap between the body and the rear hatch and goes down the right side interior pillar. It is fully visible and visibly loops all the way across the rear right trunk pillar and into the CD-changer compartment. The wire then goes and connects to the MCS. I didn't look very carefully, but the MCS in that ML didn't seem to have any extra buttons or any way to access the sat radio. I may have missed it, but if so, you'll probably have to get the '04 MCS to have an OEM-like Sirius installation.
In the other non-ML MB models, the sirius antenna wire (again, very very crudely connected in the back) ran to the glovebox, where a very unprofessional-looking, unfinished, unmarked metal box nearly filled the whole glovebox. The box appeared to be the Sirius receiver, and another wire went from there to the center console to the COMAND unit. That installation looked very replicatable since the receiver seemed to not be integrated into the COMAND system, plus the fact that COMAND has an aux-in for audio. But the ML's MCS doesn't.
Hope this helps
