Aerial and camera

Hi
Can some one please tell me where the aerial is?
Has any one got any ideas how to run cables from back trunk to front for a rear camera?

The antenna is the rear window defroster wiring in the glass.

thanks

Hi Mike
Thanks for that as I am having trouble with radio reception and I need to start somewhere
The reason I need to know if there is a easy way to run cable from boot to front is I would like to install a rear reversing camera.
I have only owned the car for about 4 weeks and its my 1st Mercedes

thanks again

Camera.
I routed mine through an opening at one of the license plate lights, then along one of the sides of liftgate, into headliner (I left some slack for when opening and closing liftgate) and along the top sides from rear pillar (C pillar) all the way to front pillar (A pillar), then down and into dash and to back of stereo unit. Will dig up some pictures if you need.

hi

Hi thanks for that but I have had a look at the head lining and it looks quite tight to roof.
If you have got any photos would be much appreciated

Take a look at these pictures. Once I got the wire into the headliner, I ran it diagonally across to the side. From there on, it's just a matter of simply tugging/hiding the wire.

You can fully conceal this wire by running it under the liftgate trim panel and through one of the rubber tubes that conducts the wires to the licence plate lamps/tailgate lock actuator/rear wiper/defroster.

A loose wire hanging between your tailgate and roof looks untidy.

That is correct. Tried that and gave up.
