Memory seats on ML
Hi, I have an 2004 ML with electric seats without memory. What do I need to install memory?
I purchased a seat switch with memory (like this one: http://www.ebay.com/itm/98-05-MERCEDES-BENZ-ML320-ML430-ML-W163-DRIVER-SEAT-SWITCH-W-MEMEORY-/180985254277?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&hash=item2a238fd185&vxp=mtr, )and simply plugged it in, but that didnt work at all. Is there anything else I need, or may the used switch I bought be broken? |
That control will not work. The memory system needs different seat motors in both seats and different side view mirrors. The wiring is also completely different.

Mike Can the seats also be programmed to change position automaticaly depending on the key used? I mean main key/spare key. Ive got a volvo S60 if I use my keys to open the car the seats, side mirrors and rear view mirror will adjust to my settings. If my wife uses her keys all the settings will readjust to her settings.
