1999 ML430

ML430 Nav System

Guess I don't have to worry about being referred to a previous thread...
I'm new here - just bought a '99 ML430. What do I need to have for a Nav Sys? Currently have Stereo head (Bose upgrade?) and CB Radio (prev. owner installed - all fits in factory cut-out).
I did browse the "Old" forum & will probably have lots of questions for you "vets".

you can either get the dash top mount NAV the dealer offered for the 99 models, or buy a an MCS unit that the 00 and up ML's have and install the NAV that way. I would personally go the MCS unit way because it is newer, has updated maps, and looks much more integrated. Finding a used MCS at a decent price is somewhat difficult.
