Tire size alternative for a 2003 ML55 AMG

I currently have Nitto tires 285/50/18 and I will need to replace them soon. I just found out that they do not make tires of the same size anymore. Can anyone please advice the safest and best value alternative. I do not need to have the top of the line. I do not drive more than 90 mph. Thank you for your suggestions.

Based on your driving, go with 285/55 18s.

slightly taller (will fill in your wheel-well nicely) and V-rated for your suv. :)

Just got installed these today on one of mine AMG work perfect and cheaper and better in snow because they are not as wide. Your suv will be taller. but remember your miles per hour will change on your speedometer, so check in to that. and i think you will get more miles to the gallon because your wheel will be bigger in diameter good luck
My wifes ML350 have the same set up on AMG 18"rims and we dont complain
