power steering fluid in coolant tank

Hi I have a ML270 cdi
it appears to be power steering fluid in the coolant expansion tank can anyone tell me if this is a known problem and any which component has failed.

2002 ML 320 & 2006 ML500
Is the power steering reservoir empty? It can also be transmission fluid.

Regardless, your radiator must be replaced.

Firstly thanks for responding !!!
the resovoir is not empty and both fluids look the same.
I have a replacement radiator and will change it first and hopefully this will cure the issue.

The engine must be completely flushed and number of times with water until all traces of the oil is gone.
