Transmission stuck in 2nd gear. Need help
 

Have a 99 Ml320

transmission would occationally lock lock up in 3rd gear and I could reset it by turning the car on and off.

now it is stuck in 2nd gear. Even when I turn the car on and off again.

i decided to replace the
transmission plate
all the solenoids
transmission connector plug.

i also checked the tcm and plug for oil and both are dry.

i tried erasing the codes with a snap on but codes are still present and it does not unlock the transmission

What scanner are you using?
It sounds like you do not have a correct scanner to clear the codes.

Before I cleared the codes these were the codes
013 speed sensor n3 y3/6l1
109 speed sensor n3 y3/6l1
132 ecm can communication or ect implausible
135 can communication disturbed: engine management

after erasing I got these codes and now it’s stuck on these codes no matter how many times I erase the codes

005 pwm valve y3/6y6 torque converter lock up
101 pwm valve y3/6y6 torque converter lock up



These are engine codes
P0715

If I recall thats a pretty pricey scanner, isnt it?
