Need AAM and X35/1 connector views with pinout
Im trying to fix my central locking system ML500
Suddenly remote stopped working, and noticed that drivers door and gas door locks but does not unlock not with fob or with dash switch.
When dash switch is pressed all doors lock unlock except for drivers and gas door which only lock and dont unlock.
Have checked everything on the wiring diagrams, and decided to replace AAM module, found exact part number as mine.
carefully replaced it, did nothing, is behaving exactly the same, dont expect the key fob to work until programming, but dash switch should work.
going over wiring diagrams, the only thing I have not been able to check it the continuity between the microswitch wire on the drivers door hinge to the aam module.
I have all data, but I have no connector views. Have not found any info for this. I know the wire is tan/brown and that it goes to pin B5 on the AAM Module.
Would like to have the wiring diagram for door connector x35/1 and for the AAM module to follow wire the tan brown wire.
PLEASE HELP!!

OK, here is the wiring diagram and legend. Access SV3 on the AAM and test the BRN wire at the beginning of the diagram.
Open the driver's door and manually throw the latch to simulate that the door is closed.
Then remove the door separation point and actuate the Cent. Locking Button and see if there is voltage or GROUND at the BROWN wire.
Then, depending on the results above do the same test on the other side of the door sep. point to the door lock.

Thanks to the diagrams sent by Maj. Dundee, I was able to determine that the internal micro switch on the unfortunately new (used) part was bad. Im pretty sure many people are going though this issue because of this micro switch.
I tried to purchase a new one but amazon sells them for $18 + $3 shipping and itll take like 3 weeks to arrive, found in other places but same 4 week delivery date and $7 shipping.
So I stripped my old lock, and removed the micro switch from it, will be transplanting it by the weekend.
In case some one i interested its a Marquardt Switches 1055.0351.
I found there is a TSB for this micro switches failing. so before you go replacing your aam. check the basics, now we can with this info!

Not the tsb but I found this about 3 days ago too

That TSB is for what is called "machine gunning" of the respective lock.

So latest update, after my drivers door lock stopped working, I took the drivers door lock/latch actuator from a 2004 ML500 (mine is an 2002), nothing changed, after suspecting the micro switch inside was broken, today I took actuator out and disassembled it, to my surprise, it had no micro switch inside!, so something in the design must have changed, coincidentally my original door lock actuator did have a micro switch, but was broken!.
Ether way, the 2004 actuator had everything inside as the 2002 just micro switch missing, installed the removed micro switch I removed from old actuator (from the door ajar section) and drivers door and gas door now open perfectly with the dash lock/unlock switch.
Still cant get my remote fob to work. did the ignition on and off, keep pressed the lock button and press unlock for 5 times, also did the variation of pressing the tailgate button but its a no go. I hope I can get my fob working, hopefully some suggestions will come.
Hopefully the replacement aam has also the remote part broken. I read somewhere that keys have a limit on how many times you can do the programming / syncing process.?
Still looking for the info on the micro switch tsb. I know I read it.

So today I was able to go to a friend that has an autel scanner to see if there's something extra to program my remote lock keys,.
When following program process which is the same "after removing key from ignition (from position 2) keep lock button pressed and press unlock 5 times within 10 seconds" I get an error message from the scanner saying " although no key is in the ignition switch, terminal 15 remains on." Possible causes ignition lock, wire from component ignition lock to N10 aam has short circuit to battery.
The strange thing is that if I go to live data and test the switch even on the aam diagnose program section of the scanner it detects when key is turned to the different positions and when removed out the switch and can see terminal 15 switch from on to off. Some ideas please?

I believe you refer to the programming on the prior 2000 ( not sure about the year) where the driver's authorization was in the aam , post 2000 ( again, not sure about the year) aam are not Vin specific.
If I'm not doing something right I appreciate guidance
You seem to know a lot about this, and your can't believe how grateful I am for every single reply you post but some of us are requesting help, and in this last post you seem like a teacher trying to catch a student cheating or lying, again if I'm not doing something right, I appreciate guidance, the scanner I used was a $3000 with a j2534 vci and followed the steps on scanner menus, at no step it asked for a code, key or any other info. We need help sn't that why we are here?

If you mean error codes it had none, I went to aaam module read codes it showed no codes.
As for the error yelling me that the key is in the switch because Terminal 15 remains on, it also had no codes it was just a message.

I will be checking with my scanner it's a smaller one but it can go into all systems and if I find something I'll post it asap. Thank you again.

No, I have three, an oyc genesys that can go up to 2015 with a smart cable, an autel $280 autel that I had to buy each brand to get access and a launch x431 pro which should also work, I'm sure one of them will do it.
Thanks!
I'll give it a check tomorrow morning, it's 95 degrees outside it's unbearable.

This is all I got this morning from one of my scanners, will test with the others, but so far the big autel and this smaller one say system pass and no error codes showing.

Why are you posting all these screen shots when there are no codes, supposedly?
Here are the codes for the AAM. If you cannot find one or more of these codes, I cannot help you.
