W163 AC noise
HI guys, few days ago I charge mine AC with R134A without AC gauge, I realized I might overcharged so I let those extra R134 out, the AC was not that cold anymore. I decided to purchase a Gauge and do the charing correct way when everything arrive.
then I hear this unusual noise from the AC, is this noise normally or something went right? I did take out the blower motor and replace with new cabin air filter but nothing help, seem like it come from near A/C Evaporator. Does anyone experience this before and where should I check? tks all

AC noise
I had noise also when I turned on the AC. I changed the cabin filter and a lot of debris was in there from being parked outside. I went further to take out the blower fan and found that a twig was stuck in the blades causing all the noise. Not sure if that will solve your problem but was my experience. Might be worth the effort to inspect the blower. I believe it was only 3 screws after removing the under-dash panel.
