'03 ML350 Trans questions
Hey all, I've done all the hard work involved in replacing the conductor plate, shift solenoids, filter and gasket. My question is upon refilling the ATF what is the process? I've had it running and continue to fill and check levels, return to car and shift through the gears. Rinse and repeat. Is there anything more I should be doing to ensure my fluid is being cycled properly before I take it on a test drive? Once it finally says full after doing this continuously will my transmission be ready to drive?

I know the best possible and most common answer is definitely measure what's taken out and refill the same amount! However I am a very busy person working ~70 hrs a week and did the mechanical work a month or two ago and no longer remember which container holds my ATF drained from the car.
