Power tail gate open by itself!
Hi, folks,
I heard some strange noice last nite in my garage and guess what I saw? I saw my power tail gate open and then close by itself!! It happened again several times this morning. And yes, I checked both of my keys and did not see the trunk button possiblely being pressed.. Did anyone experience power tail gate open and close by itself before?
My wife and I both love the new ML so much but with all the problems in only 3 weeks of ownership (bumper discoloration, tranny isses, and now this power tail gate issues), we are so disappointed with the quality of MB and we don't feel secure now even when the car is parked outside...

Thats a strange one. Never experienced it or even heard of anyone having that problem. Could be a problem with the latch not closing all the way or perhaps with one of the switches, either on the gate handle or the one in the driver's door. My ML which was delivered last Sept has been flawless.

How good is a beautiful ML that you can't drive it and park it ahywhere other than in your garage?
