AZN Optics 194 City lights for your W164
Hello!
AZN Optics is proud to present to the MBWorld community our line of 194 LEDs for the w164 model. These have been great hits with the 203, 204, 211, and 209 crowd, and now that we've had these test fitted and confirmed for the w164 audience, bringing them to you. LED Description These are super bright 360-degree shine LED bulbs with built-in load resistors, specially designed for European vehicles such as Mercedes, Audi, Volkswagen, Porsche or BMW, etc. These OBC Error Free T10 Wedge LED bulbs will replace the stock 168, 194, 2825, 2821 or W5W bulbs. Each LED bulb equips with 8 pieces High Power 1210 SMD CREE LED Chips, with built-in Load resistors. If you're not familiar with CREE, they're basically the best on the market. Most professional detailers prefer to use CREE LED chips for their lighting source for defect detection due to the high quality output. Reviews I have conducted a series of long tests and these LED bulbs light up perfectly and stay on error-free with no flickering. You can find reviews for these LEDs here: https://mbworld.org/forums/c-class-w204/357337-azns-new-led-review-thread.html https://mbworld.org/forums/c-class-w204/359374-azn-optics-5w5-canbus-leds.html https://mbworld.org/forums/e-class-w211/360714-azn-optics-194-5w5-leds-your-w211-city-lights.html https://mbworld.org/forums/c63-amg-w204/359375-azn-optics-5w5-canbus-leds.html Technical Specs Led Quantity: 8 diodes pc 3528 smd Lamp Socket: wedge Emitting Color: 5000k white, 8000k blue Available Voltage(V): DC12/24V Luminous intensity:white 65lm Average life time: ≥ 50,000 hours Pricing and Payment 1 set (2 LEDs) of 5000K or 8000K LEDs will be $19 2 sets LEDs will be $36 3 sets LEDs will be $50 4 sets LEDs will be $65 PM me if you wish to purchase more than 4 sets. So, how about showing a W164 with the lighting package (lights on) and your LEDs installed also? I would be curious to see both the white and blue on with the OE bi-xenons to see what the difference will be. Thanks.

If you look at this review thread, there are lots of examples of my LEDs with original bi-xenons, diamond visions, 6000K, 8000K hids. Although it's on a different vehicle, really doesn't matter in terms of kelvin matching. OEM Bi-xenons are rated at 4300K, so my 5000K would be the best match. https://mbworld.org/forums/c-class-w...ew-thread.html |
All weekend orders have just been shipped out. Due to Columbus Day Holiday post office closure, orders had to be shipped out Tuesday. :y
Also, had a customer request install service this weekend. Pics were taken and will be posted for reference. |

Today is the LAST DAY to get these LEDs at the lower prices. All orders must be submitted before midnight PST today. Afterwards, we will be moving to our new pricing structure. :y |
Just sent you an email about shipping to Switzerland. I`d like a set of the 5000k for my W164.
Thanks |
Shot you an invoice

I got my order yesterday.
How the heck do you remove the park/city lights on the ML550? I know it's twist and plug/unplug but I can barely get my hands behind the plug. Does the headlamp assembly need to be removed? |
Thanks for your orders everyone. All orders placed as of now are packed and ready to ship.
I am officially out of stock of 5000K versions, but no need to fret.... I just got confirmation that a new batch has just been sent and I should be seeing it in the next few days. You can still order 5000K, but shipment will be delayed by a few days till I get them in. 8000K are still in stock and ready to ship immediately!

Fog Lights?
Got my city lights installed a couple of weeks ago and they look great. Now, the fog lights look a little strange. I have the lighting package and the fog comes on depending on the wheel input and the turn signals. So unless I always use the fogs, which I don't there is only one on at most times.
Do you have an LED solution for the cornering fog lights? Is it easier to change than the city lights (had my shop do it, as I got tired of cutting my hand!)? Is there any impact on the directional lighting aspect of the OE lighting package features? Thanks. |
You have cornering fogs and yes, they do look a bit strange when you turn/signal. If you're asking for a solution to eliminate that feature, first place I'd look is through a STAR diagnostic unit to see if it can be disabled.
And regarding Fog lighting, most everyone prefer to go with an HID option as you'll have better visible light output. There are already other sponsors here that provide HID options. :y |
All weekend orders have shipped out. Hopefully you guys will get it before Christmas! :y
