Hello ml350man, I notice this was a posting back in 2011 - Did you proceed with the staggered wheel setup? Hoping to get your feedback as I don't see any replies to your post. I am planning to stagger my 2009 ml350 4matic with front 265/35/22 and rear with 295/30/22. Looking for recommendations or experience from any and all out there on this forum?

Yes, you can do it. You just have to make sure you get the offset right.

I'm for a staggered set but couldn't find a 20" set that was staggered with a 9.5 front and a 10.5 width for the back.
