I have been informed by Sirius Radio that not only can I not receive the premium live college football coverage on the 2** series channels (e.g., SEC football), but my Mercedes Sirius radio is completely incapable of ever receiving these channels. In other words, the new SiriusXM premium packages will not work on my Mercedes radio. Has anyone else run into this? I'm curious why there isn't some modification that will enable my radio to work or at least the option of relacing the unit with one that does work.

I ran into the same problem last year when I got my ML.Sirius was running a special..free for 3 weeks....30+ channels etc.Well I had it activated then spent 2 hours on the phone with tech support explaining that I could only get like 12 of their channels.My conversation with the tech ended with him claiming that I had to take the vehicle back to a dealership and request "a hard reset" of the entire system.Needless to say I don't need their product so I never explored their remedy.
